Achiya Elyasaf's Homepage

My research interests are in Software Engineering and Evolutionary Algorithms. Specifically, I focus on developing Context-Oriented Behavioral Programming (COBP) - a novel programming paradigm for developing context-aware systems. I also focus on utilizing evolutionary algorithms for evolving and optimizing behavioral programs.

I am an assistant professor in the department of Software and Information Systems Engineering, Ben-Gurion University. I received my academic degrees from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, all in Computer Science. My graduate work introduced a novel methodology for learning heuristics for combinatorial domains using evolutionary algorithms. My postdoctoral was at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Prof. David Harel’s lab.

I am actively recruiting new MSc students, PhD students, and post-docs. Positions come with funding. Please contact me for details
